Our most important role as a professional association is to protect the Public Interest; therefore, membership verification is one of the most important things we do.
Unlike professions such as law or engineering, anyone can call themselves an "accountant" without being registered with one of the three regulated, professional accounting associations (CGA, CA, or CMA).
For that reason, we devote considerable resources to protect the integrity of the CGA designation so that only members who have earned the right to the designation and maintain high professional standards can call themselves a Certified General Accountant (CGA).

Search Tips
You can search for a member by first name, last name, or both. Remember: "Bob" may be listed as "Robert".
You can search for partial names if you cannot recall the exact spelling. The system will return all records that start with the search value you entered. Example: Searching for "Re" will return "Reid" and "Reed".
