Assignments & Assessment

Course Grading Information

Each online course has different requirements. The course you are in will consist of a combination of quizzes, assignments and/or on-line discussions.     

Levels 1 - 4 Course Requirements

Please note: All assignments and quizzes are mandatory.

In all Levels 1-4 courses, you are not required to have a minimum average to write the exam, however the quiz and/or assignment marks count towards the final grade in the course.  Level 1 - 4 courses all have three integrative assignment, plus five bi-weekly quizzes with the exceptions listed below:

EM1 LW1, and QU1 have five bi-weekly quizzes only.

Quizzes will be locked off after 12 noon on the last day of the access period for each quiz.  *There are no late submissions on quizzes*

Only the first assignment may be handed in late. Late submissions will be accepted up to, but no later than, one week after the official due date.

The assignment drop box will be locked off after 12 Noon on the late submission due date (first assignment only). Please be advised that late assignments may not be marked until the current week's assignment has been marked. The late assignment procedure can be located in the CGA Student Handbook.

No late submissions are permitted for assignments 2 & 3. Please note that marked midterm assignments will have a two week turnaround, assignments 1 & 3 will be returned in seven days.

If you submit any assignment after the due date you will be charged a late fee per late assignment. All fees are posted to your checkout at the end of the session.
