Graduate Business Scholarship Program
The Graduate Business Scholarship Program provides funding for:
1. CGAs who wish to pursue graduate studies (MBA or PhD) at either the University of Alberta or the University of Calgary, and
2. University of Alberta and University of Calgary MBA students who wish to pursue a CGA designation.
Program for CGAs Pursuing Graduate Business Studies:
CGAs are eligible to apply for scholarship funding once they have been accepted into an MBA or PhD program at either the U of A or U of C.
Funding is awarded at 50% of the total scholarship amount once enrolled in the MBA or PhD program, and the final 50% is awarded following completion of the Program.
CGAs applications will be adjudicated based on transcripts, academic standing and their rationale for pursuing the MBA or PhD program.
Funding is limited to $5,000 per CGA applicant.
Program for MBA Students Pursuing a CGA Designation:
Students enrolled in an MBA program at the U of A or U of C are eligible to apply for funding.
Applications will be adjudicated based on information received from the student, including their transcripts, resume and statement of intent on becoming a CGA.
Fifty percent of the total award will provided directly to CGA Alberta as a remission of program tuition upon enrolment in the CGA Program. The remaining 50% will be awarded upon completion of the CGA designation.
Funding is limited to a maximum of $5,000 per MBA student.
