Using the CGA Logo

The protection of the CGA brand is one of the most important roles of the Association and we take it seriously. All members benefit from the consistent use of the CGA Registered Trademark and the confidence that gives the Public when they look to hire a CGA or CGA Public Accounting Firm.

If you would like permission to use the CGA Registered Trademark, please complete the following steps:

STEP 1 (Application)

  1. Complete the Registered Trademark Sublicense Agreement; and,
  2. Write a brief description of your intended use of the Trademark (i.e. "for use on business cards for my accounting business", "to display on my website", etc.).

Send both documents to MemberService@cga-alberta.org or fax to (403) 299-1339.

STEP 2 (Review & Approval)

After we receive both documents, our Communications team will review your request and, upon approval, send you the correct file(s). You will then have permission to use the Trademark in accordance with the agreement.

STEP 3 (Follow-up)

Finally, we may request a scan, picture, copy, or fax of the item(s) that contain the Trademark at any time in the future. We don't need to approve an item before production (although we would be glad to); however, if an item uses the Trademark incorrectly, we will require that it be destroyed/corrected, per the agreement.
