The Central Alberta Chapter's next meeting is May 12th and will be held at the Red Deer College. This is an exciting full evening which commences with Dinner/Drinks (6-730), followed by a Presentation (730) and then the Chapter Meeting/AGM.  The Executive will meet thereafter the same evening. Topic:  Certified Business Valuators - Rob Doran, CA, CFA, CBV is a Partner, Advisory Services with KPMG LLP in Calgary, Alberta. He specializes in business valuation, damage quantification and financial modeling. Rob has been responsible for valuations of public companies and private businesses prepared for the purposes of securities law, mergers and acquisition transactions, corporate restructuring, purchase price allocation, income tax and estate planning, matrimonial disputes, shareholder dissent actions, income tax reorganizations, offshore transfers and financial reporting. He has also quantified damages in connection with numerous breach of contract claims.

Rob has appeared as an expert witness in the Court of Queen's Bench in Alberta. His industry experience spans a wide range of industries, including oil and gas exploration and production, oilfield services, retail, manufacturing, utilities and real estate.
