Transcript Evaluation Fee

A fee of $105 plus GST must accompany your request for a transcript evaluation.  Transcript evaluations are valid for one year but remain valid after you register as a CGA student.

General Admission Fee

The General Admission Fee is one-time fee of $195 plus GST for new students and includes:

       New student orientation

       Math reference handbook

       Excel and Windows Basics computer tutorials

       CGA study guide

Student Tuition Fees

All new and re-enrolling students pay student tuition fees for each academic year. This fee represents the fixed portion of the educational and student services costs of the CGA Program. Tuition fees are payable upon admission and each August thereafter until graduation.

Student tuition fees for first year students are dependent on the session in which you first enroll. If you enroll in the first session, you will pay the full year?s tuition. If you enroll in later sessions, you will pay a pro-rated portion of the full-year's tuition, as follows:  

Session 1 - $610 (Sessions 1 to 4)

Session 2 - $510 (Sessions 2 to 4) 

Session 3 - $340 (Sessions 3 to 4) 

Session 4 - $170 (Session 4 Only) 

For all following academic years, students are required to pay the full student tuition fee (Session 1 to 4) each August.

Challenge Exam Fee

A $375 fee applies to you if  have been granted a challenge exam or are required to complete a national examination for a preparatory course completed at another institution.  This fee includes the lesson notes for the course and access to online audio-streamed lectures and exam reviews.  The fee does not include the required textbooks or software, but may be ordered separately through My CGA Profile.  If you have enrolled in a distance course through CGA, the National Examination Fee is included.

Partner Challenge Exam Fee

If you are taking a PACE Level course at NAIT or SAIT, you will need to write a national exam to receive credit with CGA.  The $275 fee includes the examination and access to online audio-streamed lectures and exam reviews.

CICA Handbook

If your course requires a CICA handbook, a CICA CD is included in your materials.  The CD is an "ACCESS ONLY " CD and is meant to allow students to access the CICA website in order to purchase the CICA handbook online.
