Provincial Degree Opportunities - Bachelor of Applied Business Administration Accounting

This degree is offered through NAIT, SAIT, Grant MacEwan and Mount Royal College. CGA will accept the Bachelor of Applied Business Administration - Accounting as meeting our degree requirement. After successfully completing a diploma in accounting, you would complete courses to earn maximum transfer credits into the CGA Program of Professional Studies. In addition, you would complete two (2) directed field studies terms in industry as part of the applied degree requirements. Depending on the type of work, you may be able to use your directed field studies job towards CGA's practical experience requirement.

The NAIT and SAIT degree have been designed to allow you to complete all of the CGA course requirements, excluding Professional Applications 1 (PA1) and Professional Applications 2 (PA2), in a classroom environment while concurrently obtaining your degree. CGA materials are used in-class and the courses are scheduled to coincide with CGA national examinations.

To apply for admission to the Bachelor of Applied Business Administration - Accounting program, please contact the post-secondary institution you are interested in attending or check out their website. You should also consider enrolling in the CGA Program concurrently. Admission in the CGA Program (even if you are not enrolled in courses) allows you to use our Employment Referral Service, which may be helpful in securing a job for your directed field studies term.
