Reporting Requirements
CPD is reported based on the number of hours completed in a given calendar year. You need to accumulate a minimum of 120 hours on a three-year moving basis. Hours are categorized between verifiable and non-verifiable. Of the 120 hours, 60 hours must be verifiable.
Verifiable activities include, but are not limited to, attending, developing, teaching or presenting structured credit and non-credit programs.
Non-verifiable activities include independent study using published learning material (e.g., study manuals, video or course CD without an assessment process) and other forms of self-directed learning.
Information to review before reporting your CPD:

- Frequently Asked Questions [PDF - 183K, 9 PAGES]
- Section Activity Codes [PDF - 130K, 2 PAGES] - refer to the nature or the length of time of the activity
- Topic and Sponsor Codes [PDF - 22K, 1 PAGE] - refer to the subject of the activity and classify the type of sponsor (who produces the activity, not who pays for the activity)
