Member Award Recipients
FCGA Award
To be a Fellow of the Certified General Accountants Association is the highest national award presented by our designation. This year, one very deserving CGA was nominated by his peers to receive a Fellowship. The Association is proud to announce that David Inhaber, FCGA was presented with a Fellowship at the 2007 Honours & Awards Luncheon in Calgary on October 5th.
Life Membership
The Life Membership recognizes exceptional CGA members who have raised the profile and value of the CGA designation through their participation in community and business activities. The Association is proud to announce that John (Jack) Logan, FCGA was presented with a Life Membership at the 2007 Honours & Awards Luncheon.
Distinguished Service Award
This award recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the Association. The Association is proud to announce that Tom Sullivan, FCGA and Jess Chua have been awarded Distinguished Service Awards for 2007.
Board of Governors
David Inhaber, FCGA, Chair, CGA Alberta recognized retiring Governor Gordon Ferguson, FCGA. Also retiring from the Board, but unable to attend the luncheon, were Philip Tawtel, FCGA and James Dunphy, FCGA. The Association members, students and staff thank Gordon, Philip and James for their dedicated service to the profession.
